I had a dream.
I was at school.
& then... I wasn't.
Someone thought I was threatening them and held a knife to my throat. I could feel the blood leaking through my esophagus and layrinx.
It was frightening.

Pointless Pieces
I have been dreaming. But nothing coherent enough to deserve a post...
The suffering of an ancient ailing pug (My dads).
Moving out and mischief.
Being alone.
etc.

A Snake & an Airplane
I had a scary dream again :(
I was going on some trip with my dad and brother... and my mom stayed home. We were in this... deserted place and boarding the plane where I started to feel dread. Then I panicked and kept telling my dad that there was a bomb on board of the plane. He laughed and said, "yeah ok." Then as we were putting our suitecases in (yeah it was like we were boarding a car or something) we saw this odd metal package. Yeah so then my dad realized that maybe I wasn't crazy and called up the pilot. The pilot came and evacuated the airplane, and it was freakin' surreal (yeah it was a dream afterall) and they kept emptying humongous tanks and missiles out of the airplane... They emptied the airplane until there was nothing left of the airplane itself. It was scary.
Then.. hear this Instantiable!!! They were making us run down this dusty road away from the airplane while CNN choppers filmed overhead. As we were running this snake jumped at me out of nowhere... and everyone said "SAHAR! We told you how to dodge a snake 2 minutes ago!" (Oh my god! Snakes AND an airplane-- If not in that order).
"But.. but I wasn't here. I missed the lesson."
Then I was told to drop and roll over. I did.
And that was that. It was frightening.
Then this morning I woke up and told my mom about the dream and as I did she turned the channel and there was CNN, talking about the emergency landing of an airplane in Italy, after a passenger warned them of a bomb on board. It turns out the bomb didn't exist... but still it was scary.
"You should go work for the police like that woman on the show Medium," my mom said.
"Uh..."
It was too weird.

Scary Seduction.
So.. last night's dream was really kind of screwed. Hell, it didn't even make sense.
I had a dream that for some reason I lived in the same house as my art teacher (whom I must note here I've known for 5 years and adore completely). So... the dream was almost a mix of some parts of the book/movie White Oleander. My teacher kept warning me not to seduce her boyfriend of a very long time, and I promised I would not. But, somehow... I got dressed in almost nothing and called him to come "help me" with something in my room. It was fucked, I swear. Hell, in the dream i wasn't even enjoying this. I was sweating and nervous. I called him over and he came in and saw me and looked seduced-- whatever the hell that look is. I felt so freakin' guilty in the dream, but it was like I almost couldn't control what I was doing. It was like some other person had dressed me that way, and some other voice had called this forbidden man to my room. It almost made me see myself in a different, evil light.
Quite creepy, indeed.
Here's what that site Instantiable showed me says about seeing the body parts-- yuck-- brace yourself:
To see your abdomen in a dream, refers to your natural instincts and repressed emotions. Emotionally, seeing your abdomen in your dream may imply something in your real life that you "cannot stomach" or have difficulties accepting You want to get it out of your system.
Seeing naked breasts can also denote a feeling of exposure and invasion of privacy. It represent motherhood, nurturance, and infantile dependency. Alternatively, breasts represents sexual arousal and raw energy. In particular, for a woman, the dream may indicate anxieties about becoming a woman/mother.
Uh... I guess I'm anxious?
Mahalo,

Faded dreams, Sharp reality

I had a dream where I was hurting small dogs. It was terrible and I woke up feeling miserable. I seem to recall that it was in self defense, but for some reason that didn't help me feel better in the slightest bit (still doesn't). They were one of my favorite breeds, too. For it being a dream, and something I would never dream of doing (<---Phrased intentionally), it was emotionally painful to my reality.
I also had a dream recently where I was walking along a road, I think up around my grandparent's house. I told a relative to watch out for snakes, or perhaps I just wondered if there were snakes. Suddenly there were snakes everywhere. I was surrounded by them. And to steal the joke from Drache... Snakes.... ON A ROAD!!! I'm afraid of snakes in real life, so it doesn't surprise me to dream of being swarmed by them. For some reason I was not scared, even upon awakening. I couldn't help but remember how vibrantly colored the snakes were.
Anyway, these are old dreams, I will give more details on a fresh dream, should I have one any time soon.
Thanks, Dreamer, for allowing me to be a contributor. I hope I am able to pull my own weight and not bog down all your readers with surreal unreadable mumbo jumbo.
If you were bored enough to read my post, maybe you're bored enough to check http://www.dreammoods.com/. They seem to have some good information on various aspects of dreaming. I went there to make sure dreaming in color even made sense.
Dream ya later,
Instantiable.

Bus Stops & Eutopian Societies
So..
Lately I've been having slightly different versions of the same dream. It's quite exhausting... That is.. if it's possible to be exhausted by a dream-- since really you're sleeping while you're dreaming. You get the point. I hope.
Well the dream goes something like this:
I'm on a bus, coming home from somewhere. I'm not really sure where but that doesn't seem to matter much. In the most recent one-- being last night's-- I almost got off at the wrong stop, where an old friend from Elementry school got off, but then I suddenly remembered that it's the wrong stop and got back on the bus. Oh I'd also forgotten to get a transfer. That did bother me in the dream: Forgetting to get a transfer. Then, in these dreams I always get off the bus at this.. crowded plaza that is supposedly by my house.. But really the area looks nothing like the deserted Markham I live in. It looks more like the crowded Bayview and Sheppard area I lived in a few years back. In one of the dreams.. I was suddenly in the car of this nice chinese family, and then I got off and before leaving I ensured them that I no longer work at Pizza Pizza.
Yes, I know. Completely random.
So... at the end of all of these dreams, I'm looking for food. The dreams all end with me deciding to go into one of the fast food places there. I'm very hungry by now... and even though I know mom's probably made something at home, I can't seem to wait. I must get food. I must eat.
But yeah the dreams usually end before I get anything in me.
Oh.. and I just remembered a part of this other dream I had... Funny how when you think about your dreams you remember more. I had this dream that I was at the freakin' summer school except it was like a... weird eutopian society... more along the lines of something in Brave New World... or 1984.. and well the entire time I was trying to escape this damn place, and I would leave when the curfews had been set and go out. At one point the "leaders" discovered that we had all been planning an escape and took us and locked us up. At one point I was getting beaten up by a bunch of people, and I screamed for the guy I'd liked to come and save me. He came, but then I didn't feel at all rescued. It was creepy. The land around us was always deserted, and patched with partially dead grass.
I don't think I escaped.
