Bus Stops & Eutopian Societies

So..

Lately I've been having slightly different versions of the same dream. It's quite exhausting... That is.. if it's possible to be exhausted by a dream-- since really you're sleeping while you're dreaming. You get the point. I hope.

Well the dream goes something like this:

I'm on a bus, coming home from somewhere. I'm not really sure where but that doesn't seem to matter much. In the most recent one-- being last night's-- I almost got off at the wrong stop, where an old friend from Elementry school got off, but then I suddenly remembered that it's the wrong stop and got back on the bus. Oh I'd also forgotten to get a transfer. That did bother me in the dream: Forgetting to get a transfer. Then, in these dreams I always get off the bus at this.. crowded plaza that is supposedly by my house.. But really the area looks nothing like the deserted Markham I live in. It looks more like the crowded Bayview and Sheppard area I lived in a few years back. In one of the dreams.. I was suddenly in the car of this nice chinese family, and then I got off and before leaving I ensured them that I no longer work at Pizza Pizza.

Yes, I know. Completely random.

So... at the end of all of these dreams, I'm looking for food. The dreams all end with me deciding to go into one of the fast food places there. I'm very hungry by now... and even though I know mom's probably made something at home, I can't seem to wait. I must get food. I must eat.

But yeah the dreams usually end before I get anything in me.

Oh.. and I just remembered a part of this other dream I had... Funny how when you think about your dreams you remember more. I had this dream that I was at the freakin' summer school except it was like a... weird eutopian society... more along the lines of something in Brave New World... or 1984.. and well the entire time I was trying to escape this damn place, and I would leave when the curfews had been set and go out. At one point the "leaders" discovered that we had all been planning an escape and took us and locked us up. At one point I was getting beaten up by a bunch of people, and I screamed for the guy I'd liked to come and save me. He came, but then I didn't feel at all rescued. It was creepy. The land around us was always deserted, and patched with partially dead grass.

I don't think I escaped.

Hmm..I think you're hungry. Hungry for food? maybe not. Maybe hungry for something more... what is it? who knows...

and the 2nd dream. Hmm.. You want the guy to save you but he doesn't really do it in the end. Trust issues? some kinda issue that's for sure.
Dreams are fun. But so open to whatever comes to your mind when you analyze them. so all i said was probably a load of crap :P

eutopian? "eu" as in "europe?" you goof.

also, i think what you're getting at is a dystopian society. the worlds of 1984 and fahrenheit 451 and the handmaid's tale and brave new world--those're all dystopias, not utopias. although i suppose it's all relative.

i think this dream means you should move to california.
